Today saw a big reveal for the live-action Aladdin movie, and besides all the new photos that we got, Entertainment Weekly also presents us with this BTS Featurette, giving us a great look at the film.

Other than the Cave of Wonders which has already been teased with the first preview, we have some scenes that look like they were stripped right out of the original. We have the One Jump Ahead chase scene with Aladdin running around the streets from the guards:
Plus we also get some colorful parade which could be the Prince Ali sequence:
What we don't have, however, is some sample of what Will Smith's Genie is going to act like. Seeing that Genie was the biggest part of the original film, the same could be said about the sequel. Heck, Will Smith is probably the biggest actor in this movie—much like Robin Williams was with the original Aladdin.
We don't know when the first full trailer of Aladdin will be dropped, but there's a good chance that we'll get it before the year ends. With a release date in May, it's very likely that Disney would start marketing as early as now. Solo: A Star Wars Story can teach us a lot about the movie's success depends on how well it's marketed.
The live-action Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie and is slated for a release on May 24, 2019.
