Popular anime routinely get collabs with apparel brands or cafés. This new collaboration is probably one of the most unexpected yet. Recently, Chainsaw Man teamed up with EPOS for a new themed credit card.

Details about the new EPOS credit card were revealed on the card’s official website. The card was also promoted via the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

With this, Chainsaw Man fans in Japan have yet another way to show off their fandom if the typical t-shirt or keychain doesn’t cut it.

Chainsaw Man is no stranger to collabs given its incredible popularity both in Japan and internationally. Since last year, the anime has gotten a range of crossovers with all sorts of brands.

For instance, there’s the Uniqlo UT collection, which was one of the few to get released outside Japan.

For something a bit more unusual, there’s Chainsaw Man’s collab with Tokyu Hotels, which recreated the Eternity Devil Hotel.

All these previous crossovers are outdone by the new EPOS team-up, as it introduces three credit card designs based on MAPPA’s hit anime.

Credit cards with character designs aren’t new, but this collab is definitely unexpected. After all, no sane Chainsaw Man fan would trust Denji when it comes to money.

On the flip side, EPOS is a popular credit card company in Japan that’s known for being easy to acquire even for foreign nationals. This makes it worth considering for foreign residents living in Japan.

If EPOS’ lack of enrollment and annual fees are not enough to entice you to get a card, these new Chainsaw Man designs might just be.

This collection features three credit card designs. The first features a fearsome-looking Denji in his Hybrid form, as well as the anime’s logo in English on the left side.

Next, there’s a light blue card featuring the show’s main trio of Denji, Power, and Aki Hayakawa. It also comes with the anime’s logo but in Japanese.

Rounding out the card lineup is an adorable orange credit card featuring the ever-loveable Pochita.

This card, along with the two previous ones, are Visa credit cards. Existing EPOS users can also get their card changed to these for a fee.

Applications for these credit cards will be available on October 27, 2023. Details about application requirements and promos are available on the official EPOS website.
