CD Projekt Red Unveils 48-Minute Gameplay Video for Cyberpunk 2077

After a teaser on Twitch that seemingly went on for an eternity, the stream turned into a world premiere for Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. Simply put, it looks fantastic though fans are quick to point out that it looks too good to be actual gameplay. Numerous E3 disappointments have conditioned gamers to have realistic expectations so they don't believe every gameplay demo they see.

Still, even if this was just a proof of concept video show like a gameplay demo it looked pretty cool. If the game actually lets players do the number of actions seen in it, the cyberpunk RPG could be a game of the year contender (whenever it comes out) and another acclaimed title for CD Projekt Red.

To be honest, the trailer is pretty long so fans might want to get a snack or drink while checking it out, assuming they haven't seen the livestream on Twitch. While exciting and good-looking, the time is a bit long and the lack of a release date and window was disappointing. Don't get us wrong, this looks like a quality game but the video sure is time-consuming.

From the vibrant world filled with NPCs to the impressive gunplay and futuristic weapons, there's no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 looks like a keeper. At 48 minutes, it was wise to not show this during E3 since the audience would have gotten bored quickly. If this is "real" gameplay then it could be one of the best open-world RPGs in a long time.

Cyberpunk 2077 does not have a release date as of this writing.
