Cast of Big Lebowski Reunites for the Movie's 20th Anniversary

The Big Lebowski was a flop when it came out in cinemas back in 1998, but now after 20 years, the Coen Brothers film has become a cult classic, and Lebowskifest has become an annual celebration for hundreds of fans. The main cast of the film had just celebrated a reunion, and Jeff Bridges shares a pic of himself with John Goodman and Steve Buscemi.

Check the trio out:

The man on the far right is NBC's Harry Smith, who is conducting the interview for the 20th anniversary of the film. Bridges does mention that some of the cast is missing; though Philip Seymour Hoffman and David Huddleston have passed, they could have invited Julianne Moore or John Turturro to come along. How about the Coen Brothers themselves?

The Big Lebowski remains to be one of the more fan favorite films from the Coens, and it cemented Jeff Bridges as a pop culture figure. Besides the fans who celebrate the film on a yearly basis, the movie has actually sprouted the religion of Dudeism, which basically follows the mantra of the Dude in the film which is to "abide."

Let's also not forget this meme:

The movie hasn't sprouted any sequels or spinoffs, but it's probably all for the best. The beauty of The Big Lebowski is how everything ties together nicely by the end. It's funny after 20 years that a lot of people still manage to relate to the Dude and his easygoing, no problem attitude.
