Marvel just dropped the very first trailer for Captain Marvel during this morning's episode of Good Morning America, and not only do we get to see Brie Larson's Carol Danvers in action, but we also get to see Captain Marvel sporting her trademark mohawk for what hopefully will be a portion of the movie.
Lasting for a little bit over two minutes, the trailer for Captain Marvel starts off with Carol Danvers falling down to Earth with very little memory of her past on the planet. After a slew of cool car chase sequences and clips of space invasions, the video moves on to a montage of clips of Carol Danvers various memories and experiences, one of which includes an underwater mission with her fellow Starforce officers. In that scene, we get to see Captain Marvel with her signature mohawk, her hair jutting out of her helmet.

This new little tidbit is definitely going to please Carol Danvers' comic book fans. There's been a lot of questions about Captain Marvel's costume design and hairstyle for the upcoming movie because Carol's had so many variations to her costume design and hairstyle in her time as Captain Marvel. One of her most memorable hairstyles, however, is her mohawk. Choosing to abandon her long blond hair from when she was Ms. Marvel, Carol takes on a practical, edgy cut for her new life as Captain Marvel.
Unfortunately, it seems like the mohawk isn't going to have that much time on the big screen given the number of clips that it's been included in the trailer. Well, at least we're getting a Mohawk version of Captain Marvel. Can't complain there.
Captain Marvel is set to release in cinemas March 08, 2019.
