Captain Marvel TV Spot Features Nick Fury's Infinity War Pager

Ever since we saw Nick Fury page Carol Danvers at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, we've all been fairly excited to see Captain Marvel. It's clear that the pager has become an interesting part of the character, or at the least, one of the things fans associate with her now. We know that the film will be a period piece set in the ‘90s and have a Nick Fury with both eyes.

Well, thanks to a Russian TV spot, we now know that the pager plays a semi-vital role in this film. Since cell phones weren't in yet, pagers were a thing and since we haven't seen Carol in other MCU movies, it's easy to assume that she hasn't been around to get a cellphone. What she does isn't known yet, which is why we can't wait to see the movie.

Since the TV spot is in Russian, it's hard to understand what's going on here. We can assume that the two are sassing at each other since this is a Marvel movie and everyone has to quip. That's not a bad thing mind you, just something most fans have noticed.

Most of us will be looking forward to the film's aftermath, though the central plot looks great too. Having an MCU version of the Kree/Skrull War has a lot of fans hyped since this could be a prelude to something bigger. Whether it be the war itself or Secret Invasion has a lot of fans going.

Captain Marvel comes out on March 8.
