There have been persistent rumors swirling all over the internet that Captain America 4 will mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of the Red Hulk. However, Marvel Studios has yet to make any official confirmation. Even Harrison Ford, who replaces the late William Hurt as General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross has been playing coy about his involvement in the film.

Now, a new merch for Captain America: Brave New World pretty much spoils Ross' menacing transformation. Despite the inclusion of other villains such as The Leader and the Serpent Society, all signs point to the Red Hulk being the film's big bad.

For the uninitiated, General Ross becomes the Red Hulk with the help of The Leader and M.O.D.O.K. who used radiation siphoned from the actual Hulk himself. This could also mean that Bruce Banner might make an appearance in Captain America 4.

Of course, it makes perfect sense for Red Hulk to be the film's main villain, given Ross' vendetta against the Avengers dating back to the implementation of the Sokovia Accords. And let's be honest, Harrison is too big of an actor to not be given a significant role in the MCU.

Captain America: Brave New World is currently slated for release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
