tvN has broken its silence over the claims that BTS’s V is about to do a spinoff of the reality show Youn’s Kitchen with Park Seo Joon and Jung Yu Mi.
The network released an official statement to address the issue. However, it neither denied nor admitted that BTS’s V is part of the upcoming Youn’s Kitchen spinoff.
tvN Issues Official Statement about BTS’s V’s Alleged Inclusion in Youn’s Kitchen Spinoff
The network’s spokesperson issued an official statement about the idol’s possible inclusion in the coming spinoff series.
“Regarding the possibility of BTS member V appearing on tvN’s new variety show Seo Jin’s, we are in the process of checking whether it’s true with the producers who are currently filming on location abroad,” the rep said via Soompi. “Due to the difference in time zones, it’s taking some time for us to check the facts, so we ask for your understanding.”

tvN also intentionally didn’t reveal the filming location of the said spinoff.
“For the sake of a safe and smooth shoot, we cannot reveal the filming location in advance,” the network said when it first announced the series’ production.
The Youn’s Kitchen spinoff with the title Seo Jin’s will be out in the first half of 2023.
BTS’s V Allegedly Joins Youn’s Kitchen Spinoff
tvN confirmed last month that the producer and director Na Young Suk would do a new show called Seo Jin’s, which would serve as the Youn’s Kitchen spinoff.
It would feature a cast of stars opening and operating a small Korean restaurant overseas.

The show will have a new boss, Lee Seo Jin, considering Youn Yuh Jung is busy filming Pachinko Season 2. Other Youn’s Kitchen stars, Park Seo Joon and Jung Yu Mik will join him, along with Choi Woo Shik from Youn’s Stay.
Later, StarNews claimed V would also make an appearance in Seo Jin’s, and he even went to Mexico to secretly film the show with Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik.
BTS’s V Spotted with Kang Dong Won, Im Siwan
Meanwhile, V was recently spotted with Kang Dong Won and Im Siwan after their photos hit the internet.

The said snap was reportedly taken in June at a golf course. Kang Dong Won has been seen with V several times, though it was the first time the idol was seen with Im Siwan in public.
