The Camp's 36th division released a photo of the newly enlisted BTS member J-Hope on its webpage Tuesday, April 25.

As expected, the snap quickly got everyone's attention, with several reactions from fans. So, how is he in the military?

J-Hope's Photo from the Military

The 29-year-old looks healthy and well after his enlistment, as seen in his photo obtained by AllKpop.

The singer-songwriter made a finger heart, looking so handsome in his military uniform. He, too, is wearing a beret and giving everyone his signature brightest smile.

The snap also sees him wearing a name tag with his given name, Jung Ho Seok.

With this update, fans feel at ease that their idol is doing fine in the military.

Fans React to J-Hope's Photo

As expected, fans can't help but react to J-Hope's new photo as an active-duty soldier.

"He looks so good in the uniform," one fan said.

"Our Hope," another claimed.

"Stay healthy Hoseok," a netizen wished.

J-Hope's Enlistment

J-Hoper officially started his 18-month mandatory military training on April 18 at an army boot camp in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

He joined the 36th Army Recruit Training Center.

His fellow BTS members, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, sent him off—except Jin, who also served in the military.

J-Hope is the second BTS member who enlisted after Jin's enlistment in December 2022.

J-Hope's Activities

Before J-Hope officially enlisted, he was busy with his solo endeavors.

He released a documentary titled J-Hope in the Box, featuring the making of his solo debut album and appearance at Lollapalooza on Weverse and Disney+.

He was also announced as the new brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton in the same month. Come March, he dropped his collaboration song with the American rapper J.Cole, titled "On the Street."

The track debuted at No. 37 on the U.K. Singles chart, making him the first BTS member to enter the list's top 40 and the highest-charting Korean soloist in the chart's history at the time.

The track also earned J-Hope his highest peak on the U.S. Hot 100 at No. 60.
