V is allegedly dating the Oracle Sisters member Julia Johansen after the group posted a photo of them together on their Instagram Story. Not only that, but it was also captioned with “first date.”
The Truth Behind V, Julia Johansen’s Snap
The K-pop star recently attended the Celine Spring/Summer 2023 collection fashion show in Paris with Park Bo Gum and BLAKCPINK’s Lisa.
V probably met Julia Johansen in the country, and the latter posted a photo with the idol on her group’s official Instagram page. As expected, many netizens jumped to the conclusion, claiming the two were dating, especially after reading the caption “first date” and seeing the female singer’s arm was around his neck.
“First date - Julia & V," the caption read with an added heart emoji.
So, to clear the air, Julia Johansen explained the truth behind the picture, per News18.
“Guys, the ‘date’ was a joke by my bandmate,” she said. “We went for drinks with @utzpeter @lalalalisa_m @thv @mileskane before a fashion show… Peace and love.”
So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. V and Julia Johansen are not dating at all.

Dating rumors about V and Jennie started to emerge when photos of them together spread like wildfire online. The snap featured two people who perfectly resembled the K-pop giants.
Allegedly, they were spending time together, driving around Jeju Island. However, despite the noise the claims had made, YG Entertainment, Jennie’s agency, remained mum about it.
In fact, it said, via Pop Inquirer, that it had nothing to say about the matter and would only inform the media it had a different response.

Alternatively, BigHit Music, V’s agency, didn’t issue any comment at all.
With no help from their agencies, the two idols’ fans worked together to ask everyone to leave Jennie and V alone. Some couldn’t help but congratulate them if the rumors were true.
This led to accusations that Hybe was only using V and Jennie’s fame to cover Kim Garam’s bullying scandal.
For context, the LE SEERAFIM member was caught in a middle of a school bullying scandal before the group even debuted.
After being introduced as the second member of Hybe Corporation’s first girl group, she was immediately thrown with school violence and bullying accusations in middle school.
Hybe denied the claims, saying the allegations were “cunningly edited to maliciously slander” its talent. It also revealed that Kim Garam herself was a victim of bullying.
Anyhow, the dating rumors that once surrounded V and Jennie have already died down.
