J-Hope held a pre-release party for his album Jack in the Box on Thursday, July 14. As expected, the event was attended by A-list K-pop stars, but it looked like a couple of BTS members were missing.
BTS members RM, V and Jungkook went to celebrate J-Hope’s solo debut. However, some wonder if Jin and Suga were there as they weren’t seen in the photos Well, the two were reportedly there and Jin had the most relatable reason as to why he was missing in action.
Where was Jin at J-Hope’s Jack in the Box Pre-Release Party
Jin revealed he was at the event and told his fans on Instagram and Weverse where he was exactly at the time, per AllKpop.
A fan couldn’t help but ask Jin why he didn’t invite her, as she would have been willing to clean if she were there.
"I went too, but after listening to all the songs, I sat in the corner to read webtoons,” he responded. “So I didn't get any photos taken."
To prove that he was at the event, he posted a photo of him in front of J-Hope’s Jack in the Box photo wall.

As one of the most famous stars at the event, another fan couldn’t help but wonder how he could just read webtoons at a party as big as that.
"No, I really only knew Bang Si Hyuk PD and PDogg PD, so I was hiding,” he explained.
Jin also told them that when he got home, he started playing games as a form of healing.
"Jin, how many hours have you been playing games?" a fan asked him.
"I listened to all of J-Hope's songs and escaped. Then I've been playing until now,” he replied. “My heart is healing."
J-Hope’s Jack in the Box Pre-Release Party’s A-List Attendees
J-Hope’s Jack in the Box pre-release party was attended by some of the most famous stars in South Korea.
According to Koreaboo, hip-hop legends Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae were there, along with the veteran idol and actress Uhm Jung Hwa.
Big Bang’s Taeyang was also there, joining the list of what seemed to be endless A-list attendees.

Of course, Jungkook, Jimin, V, RM and Jin were there to support their fellow BTS member.
Though Suga seemed absent, some believed they saw him at the event.
The Release of J-Hope’s Jack in the Box
J-Hope has finally dropped his much-anticipated solo album Jack in the Back on Friday, July 15.
The album features 10 new songs described to represent J-Hope’s leap out of the box and to show different sides of himself.
Some of the songs fans are about to hear are “Pandora’s Box,” “MORE,” “STOP,” “=(Equal Sign)” and “Arson.” Hypebae revealed these songs would tell J-Hope’s story as a solo artist.
The start of the album will tell the story behind his stage name, while “MORE” and “Arson,” account for his passion.
