The group’s latest Daesang became its 66th Daesang award in South Korea.

BTS waited three years since its debut before scoring its first-ever Daesang for Album of the Year at the Melon Music Awards.

Aside from 66 local major awards, BTS also recorded a whopping number of awards from different American Music shows, including Billboard Music Awards (12), American Music Awards (12), People’s Choice Awards (11), iHeart Music Awards (10), Video Music Awards (10), Teen Choice Awards (7), and Kids’ Choice Awards (6).
