BTS Jin Delivers Update to Fans

On Friday, the military announced Jin would continue his service at the 5th Infantry Division's recruit training center. Following the announcement, the idol delivered a message to his fans through the platform WeVerse.

Jin also shared photos of him on his post.

"I'm enjoying my life. I'm posting a picture after getting permission from the military. ARMY, be happy and take care," he wrote.

Jin became the first BTS member to enter the military. He is expected to be discharged on June 12, 2024.

The potential exemption of BTS members had been a long discussion in South Korea. The country’s government continued debating over it until HYBE and the idols themselves announced the members’ desire to get enlisted instead.

Suga will be the next member to start his service, and it was revealed that the rapper would carry out his duty as a social service agent instead of being an active-duty soldier. HYBE is yet to confirm the information.
