Bruce Campbell Isn't Thrilled Spider-Man: No Way Home Left Him Out

I believe it goes without saying that Spider-Man: No Way Home pretty much served as a massive celebration of all things Spidey as it brought together all three actors who've played Peter Parker on the big screen — Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. The film also saw the jaw-dropping returns of villains such as Doc Ock, Electro, Sandman, Lizard, and Green Goblin, and had major callbacks to past Spidey flicks outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While everyone involved in the film, most especially the returning actors was beyond thrilled about their No Way Home participation, one actor is apparently not happy that he was left out of the MCU extravaganza.

Appearing on the Fandemic Tour Atlanta (via ComicBook), Campbell hilariously lambasted No Way Home for excluding him, before saying that he was only involved in the "good ones" aka Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. He said: "The recent Spider-Man, was there a recent Spider-Man movie? I didn't know, I was in the good ones. I wouldn't know."

Well, while it may have been cool to see Campbell do his usual Spidey schtick in the MCU, the film could only fit a number of actors so it doesn't really come as a shock. On the bright side, there's hope for him to make his triumphant Marvel return now that his frequent collaborator Sam Raimi is part of the billion-dollar franchise. I mean, who knows? We could very well see Bruce make a cameo appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I think that's definitely a possibility.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: No Way Home is already out on digital.
