Bro Thor is the Next Build-A-Figure from Marvel Legends

Besides Star Wars The Black Series, one of the biggest toylines for Hasbro is Marvel Legends. A showcase of upcoming figures has been displayed at the San Diego Comic-Con, and the next build-a-figure to be revealed is Fat/Bro Thor.

Check out the photos:

By the looks of it, you'll have to gather six figures to complete Thor, those being: Captain America (2012 version), Valkyrie, Heimdall, Iron Man (Mark 85), Vision, and the upgraded Iron Patriot. I don't even remember seeing Iron Patriot in Avengers: Endgame, but I guess it still looks cool.

Bro Thor comes with Stormbreaker and an alternate head without sunglasses. While we're mentioning accessories, the Mark 85 Iron Man also comes with a Hulk-sized Nano Gauntlet. I'm wondering if you can exchange that with the hands of either Hulk or Thanos.

While I would have loved to get Bro Thor as a single release, I guess Hasbro is thinking he wouldn't sell as well by himself. With him being a BAF, he's kind of just an extra treat if you manage to complete all the figures in the wave. Personally, I'm waiting for them to come out with the Thor that was in the final battle, complete with dreads and a braided beard. I'm sure that one will sell like hotcakes.

We don't have a release for these figures yet, but hopefully, they'll reach the mainstream shelves sometime later this year. If not, I think early 2020 is always a good guess.

For now, you can catch actual Thor in Avengers: Endgame, still in theaters.
