Brie Larson To Introduce First Captain Marvel Trailer On GMA

The Captain Marvel trailer could finally be released in just a few days and it looks like Brie Larson will be the one to introduce the first teaser for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.

A press release for ABC's Good Morning America has confirmed that Larson will be one of the special guests on the show's Tuesday episode next week. The Kong: Skull Island star is expected to talk about her new MCU movie and share an exclusive look at the highly anticipated film.

It was previously reported that the first Captain Marvel trailer will be dropped on GMA's September 18 episode. Larson's appearance on the show could mean that we will also be getting interesting new details about the movie before we see a brief teaser or hopefully a full-length trailer.

We have yet to see any footage from Captain Marvel. The first images from the film were recently released by Entertainment Weekly and Larson's Carol Danvers graced the magazine's September 8 issue. The pictures also offered a glimpse at a young Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) with a full head of hair and both eyes intact. In addition to that, Ben Mendelsohn's mysterious character was finally revealed to be Talos, the leader of the Skrulls who will invade Earth.

Captain Marvel also stars Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Clark Gregg, and Lashane Lynch. Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou will return as Ronan and Korath from the first Guardians of the Galaxy film.

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019.
