Brie Larson Proves That She Has The Jedi Skills To Join The Star Wars Franchise

Brie Larson might have just recently cemented her place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by debuting in Captain Marvel and then appearing in Avengers: Endgame, but it looks like the Marvel star's already gearing up to step into another major film franchise, this time hoping to fly to Lucasfilm's galaxy, far, far away.

The Captain Marvel star has been making the rounds to help promote Avengers: Endgame, and in her interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Larson was challenged to "Beat Saber," a game where players have to swing around virtual lightsabers at boxes and then dodge obstacles while following the beat of a song.

Turns out that Marvel's Strongest Avenger has the potential to become a Jedi too. While Fallon was eager to jump into the game, the Tonight Show's host wasn't nearly as good as Larson. The Captain Marvel star had much more challenges during her turn at "Beat Saber," and her song was even more complicated than the host's.

Lucasfilm might want to consider casting Larson in a future Star Wars film. Or television series. That would be great too. Sure, the Skywalker Saga might be coming to an end with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the third and final entry in Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy, but the studio has a whole lot planned for the franchise.

Not only is Lucasfilm working on a couple of series for Disney's upcoming streaming site, Disney+, but it also has two different Star Wars film trilogies on the way, one from Game of Thrones showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, and one from Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson.

There's plenty of room for Larson somewhere.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to premiere on December 20, 2019.
