Brie Larson Offers Fans A New Look At Carol Danver’s Captain Marvel

It looks like Captain Marvel's doing her part in encouraging the American population to practice their right to vote.

While Brie Larson's official debut as Carol Danvers is still four months away from today, the Captain Marvel star isn't afraid of giving everyone a cool new look at her version of the strongest Avenger in a cool photo encouraging her fans to head out and vote.

Taking to Twitter, Larson shared a photo of herself in her classic Kree uniform standing inside a phone booth with "Rock the Vote" posters strewn everywhere around her.

"Captain Marvote is a bad pun, but now that I have your attention, please vote tomorrow," Larson wrote on her tweet.

Not only do the posters remind fans to vote, they also remind everyone that Captain Marvel is going to be a blast to the past, taking fans back to the 1990s.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the film's producer Johnathan Schwartz explains why Marvel decided to place Captain Marvel in the 90s, saying that the studio carved out the period just for Carol Danvers.

"It's giving Carol a place in the cinematic universe that she can carve out for her own, where she wasn't one superheroine out of many," Schwartz told the publication.

It's definitely going to be an exciting time for Marvel fans. Everyone's been waiting for a hero like Captain Marvel to make it to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it looks like she's going to blast her way into cinemas when the film premieres on March 8, 2019.
