Brad Pitt is not happy with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie's public outings with their children. He is reportedly working hard, so his request for joint custody will be granted. Pitt and Jolie have already been separated for five years, but they haven't finalized their custody and divorce yet.

Pitt has a "huge cloud hanging over him" amid his up and down legal battle with Jolie. An unnamed source spoke with Us Weekly about the exes.

"Brad is working hard and staying as positive as he can be right now," the tipster said.

The insider also added that the Ad Astra actor focuses more on his children than his dating life. Even if he went out on multiple dates in the past, finding someone new is not his priority at the moment.

"He’s just not mentally ready and doesn’t know when he next will be," the tipster added.

The insider added that his legal battle with Jolie has already taken a toll on him. Fortunately, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star has incredible willpower and a strong support group. He also has the tools needed in recovery when things get super tough.

Angelina Jolie Allegedly Using Kids For Publicity

Another source close to Pitt told The Post earlier that Jolie was allegedly using their kids for publicity. The actress has been showing up on Eternals premiere with five of their six children — Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13. Pax, 17, has been missing at the said sightings.

"It’s hard to understand how this behavior of parading them around is in their best interest. Brad never takes the kids out publicly — and he rarely talks about them," the tipster claimed.

Court Will Likely Side With Brad Pitt Over Angelina Jolie's Sole Custody Request

Austin-based family law attorney Holly Davis of powerhouse family law firm Kirke Davis weighed in on Pitt and Jolie's custody battle. For her, even if Jolie had successfully removed Judge John W. Ouderkirk from the case, Pitt would still likely share custody with their kids. In short, Jolie would not get the sole custody she was aiming for.

"The reason I think she's not going to get what she wants is that you can't change the facts: Pitt has successfully rehabilitated himself and addressed the problematic issues that led to their divorce. And any judge, public or private, is going to give a dad who has done all of that work the opportunity to have a relationship with his own children," Davis explained.

She added, "For the most part, our legal system does not rip dads away forever from their kids based on bad incidents that occurred years ago. There is a national public interest in facilitating relationships between dads that want to be a part of their kids' lives and who have shown they can behave properly, despite past missteps. The courts are flooded with dads who don't want to be involved, so our court system wants a child to have access to both parents as much as possible."
