Bowsette is Taking Over The Internet, and Mario Fans are Obsessed

In the New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, there's an item called the Super Crown which seems to transform characters into a version of Princess Peach (or at least they get some aspects of that character.) What caught the fans' attention is the time when Toadette puts the crown on, she becomes Peachette. This led to questions regarding the full power of this item and whether or not it's going to create some new characters in the Mario universe.

This made some fans wonder, "What would happen if Bowser puts on the Super Crown?"

There's no official answer to that question but fans online decided that a fusion of both characters would be called Bowsette, and many fans have already imagined the character in their artworks, comics, and cosplay photos. She's the Princess Peach version of Bowser and she doesn't exist in the official Mario universe. According to Eurogamer and other sources, artist aykk92 popularized the idea via a comic strip in which Mario breaks up with Peach to be with Bowsette.

Artists on the Internet have made different interpretations of Bowsette but the general consensus seems to be that Bowsette has a pair of horns, sharp incisors, and big boobs. While Nintendo still hasn't revealed what happens if Bowser actually wears the Super Crown, it probably won't look close to what fans imagined.
