Here’s What Happened Before Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 7
The title of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 is Three Years, and it begins with the Two Elders telling Shikamaru to eliminate Boruto and to officially accept the position of Eighth Hokage.
At the Hokage’s office, Shikamaru and Ino speak through the Mind Body Transmission technique to avoid being eavesdropped on by Eida, Kawaki, the detection team, and even Amado.
Elsewhere, Kawaki and Eida discuss Code and the evolving Ten Tails. Eida added that they are after Naruto and her for whatever reason.
Daemon says that Kawaki’s lie would be exposed the moment the Claw Grimes came after Naruto, not that it was his concern.
Meanwhile, Boruto informs Sarada that Sasuke has been absorbed by the Ten Tails to let him escape.
He also added that those who were absorbed started evolving into divine trees, even though the victims were not Ohtsutsuki.
He assumes that Code’s chakra has something to do with it since his karma came from Isshiki.
Kawaki, on the other hand, detects Boruto’s presence within the village. Mitsuki alerts Shikamaru about Boruto and asks Eida to pinpoint his location.
That’s when Shikamaru contacts Boruto through Mind Transfer Jutsu, organized by Ino. He warned Boruto about Mitsuki’s arrival, but it was too late.
Mitsuki, in his Sage Mode, arrives and attacks Boruto, but the latter is able to evade him thanks to Flying Raijin.
Mitsuki continues to attack Boruto, who swore to Sarada that he would rescue everyone before leaving.
Shikamaru resumes his conversation with Boruto, saying that he will support him, but not as openly as he can. He assumes that Boruto is Uzumaki Boruto, but before Boruto can confirm, Mitsuki comes after him.
