Boba Fett Actor Temuera Morrison Finally Breaks Silence on Obi-Wan Kenobi Cameo

Temuera Morrison has been enjoying somewhat of a career renaissance in the Star Wars franchise. After making his jaw-dropping return as Boba Fett in the second season of The Mandalorian, the New Zealand actor has officially become one of the main attractions in the MandoVerse and even got his own series The Book of Boba Fett which pretty much served as the franchise's opening salvo for 2022.

Morrison also made a cameo appearance in the recently-concluded Obi-Wan Kenobi series as a discarded 501st clone who now seeks refuge on the streets of Daiyu. His involvement in the show may have been brief overall, but the aforementioned sequence

Speaking with Total Film (via ComicBook), the Aquaman star finally opened up about his emotional cameo, jokingly saying that it was the "best part" of the whole series. He continued: "I'm joking. I really enjoyed that. Playing around in their storyline and their timezone – things are changing. I'm representing all that clone army that are no longer around anymore."

As it stands, it would be safe to assume that Morrison will appear in the third season of The Mandalorian and we're definitely hoping that Boba Fett will return to his badass roots. I mean, there's nothing wrong with how he's been portrayed since returning but it's evident that Lucasfilm decided to water the famed bounty hunter down.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to hit Disney+ in February 2023. Meanwhile, all episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi are now streaming.
