Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 7 was a truly exciting one as a new villain was introduced and Hotaru Haganezuka was finally unmasked. In addition to that, the latest episode of the Swordsmith Village arc featured Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War star Noriaki Sugiyama in a small yet important role!
In Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 7, Muichiro Tokito continued to struggle to escape Gyokko's water prison. While the Upper Rank became distracted with Haganezuka, Muichiro tried to use one last attack with the remaining air in his lungs but is unsuccessful.
Accepting his fate, Muichiro thanks Kagaya Ubuyashiki for saving him and wishes he will find someone to replace his Hashira position. However, Muichiro sees a vision of Tanjiro Kamado telling him that nobody knows what the future will be like.
Muichiro immediately realizes that Tanjiro had never said to him. The vision continues to encourage him to rely on others although Muichiro isn't convinced. That's when Kotetsu returns and tries to pierce the water prison with his knife only to be attacked by a fish demon as Muichiro watches helplessly.
Kotetsu is gravely injured by the fish demon but the boy manages to step towards the water prison and blows air for Muichiro. As he inhales the air, Muichiro remembers Tanjiro's words about how helping others would eventually help him and he connects the words to Muichiro's father.
Muichiro's dad only appears briefly in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 7 but it is confirmed that he has the same red eyes as Tanjiro. In addition to that, his calm and soothing voice is provided by Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War star Noriaki Sugiyama.
