The hype is real as the first film of Marvel arrives after two years without a film release with the upcoming and much-awaited solo film of the only rose among all the thorns in the OG Avengers team, Natasha Romanoff is back with Black Widow and the film recently released its rating, it is rated PG-13.

With only a few months left before the arrival of the film, it has been given a PG-13 rating which means "for intense sequences of violence/action, some language, and thematic material" and parents are strongly advised that some of the parts of the film are not appropriate for children under 13 years old.

While this indicates that there are scenes of the film which would require strong parental guidance, it also means that there are a lot of sequences that will give us the action we have all been yearning for from Marvel after a two-year drought on Marvel films brought by the global pandemic.

Black Widow will also be released through Disney Plus Premier Access which means that it could be accessed in the comfort of your homes for an additional price of $30 on top of the monthly subscription cost on Disney+. This would leave to the parents a strong discretion on children who may be watching the film with them and they are advised to take the necessary precautions for the parts of the film which may be inappropriate for children under 13.

Black Widow will take place in the events between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Black Widow and she will be joined by Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, and David Harbour as Red Guardian.

Black Widow will be released in theaters and on Disney Plus Premier Access on July 9, 2021.
