Letitia Wright is taking her rightful place as the new Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and after months filled with controversies and a nagging injury she sustained while filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Shuri actress is ready for her upgraded role in the billion-dollar franchise.
However, despite the success of the final Phase 4 film which recently closed in on $550 million at the global box office, all her critics seemingly want to talk about is her anti-vax controversy. The matter has long been addressed by the 29-year-old star but she is continuously being dragged for her alleged views against vaccination.
In fact, a report from The Hollywood Reporter once again put the spotlight on Wright's controversy, claiming that it will hurt her chances of getting acting awards for her performance in Black Panther 2.
Wright fired back on Instagram, calling out THR's "How Personal Baggage Will Impact Oscar Chances" feature and claiming that the outlet has a personal vendetta against her. She wrote: "I had to unblock The Hollywood Reporter just to post this. Scott Feinberg and all at this publication. You're all incredibly disrespectful. How dare you. You mentioned my name alongside men who have been accused of abuse & sexual misconduct. This is vile behavior. At this point a personal vendetta towards me. I've done nothing wrong but respectfully refused to do interviews with this publication. Stop your nonsense. I apologised TWO years ago. Remained silent on the topic. You lied and said I continued talking about it with my cast & crew on my set. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. ASK MY PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR. The film was successful. Your agenda towards me is now even more clear. I won't remain silent. Stop your disgusting behavior."

If you may recall, THR is the same outlet that published the report claiming she's been espousing her anti-vax views on the set of Wakanda Forever, something that Letitia quickly refuted.
