Black Mirror Reveals Intriguing Episode Titles for Season Six

Recently, Netflix released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated upcoming sixth season of Black Mirror after years of being on hiatus. While the details were under wraps at that time, it did promise a star-studded season for the show's return based on the cast members that they announced.

Now, as we're waiting for its return next month, we now have the episode titles for the sixth season of Black Mirror thanks to a report from Entertainment Weekly. They also confirmed that the new season will only consist of just five episodes.

The first episode is titled "Joan is Awful" which tells the story of an average woman who is stunned to discover a global streaming platform has launched a prestige TV drama adaptation of her life.

Salma Hayek, Annie Murphy, Michael Cera, Rob Delaney, Ben Barnes, and Himesh Patel are starring in the episode with Hayek portraying the actress who plays Murphy's character in the so-called prestige TV drama.

Meanwhile, the second episode titled "Loch Henry" will center on a young couple who travel to a sleepy Scottish town to work on a genteel nature documentary but find themselves drawn to a juicy local story involving shocking events from the past.

This episode with a mysterious premise will be led by Samuel Blenkin, Myha'la Herrold, Daniel Portman, John Hannah, and Monica Dolan.

The third episode "Beyond the Sea" will take us to an alternative 1969 where two men on a perilous high-tech mission wrestle with the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy.

It stars Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Auden Thornton, and Rory Culkin. Brooklyn director John Crowley directed the science-fiction episode.

For the fourth episode titled "Mazey Day," Zazie Beetz, Clara Rugaard, and Danny Ramirez will star in a tale of a troubled starlet who was dogged by invasive paparazzi while dealing with the consequences of a hit-and-run incident.

The fifth episode "Demon 79" centers on a meek sales assistant who was told that she must commit terrible acts to prevent disaster. It is set in northern England in 1979.

Anjana Vasan, Paapa Essiedu, Katherine Rose Morley, and David Shields star in the episode. Ms. Marvel showrunner Bisha K. Ali co-wrote the script with creator Charlie Brooker.

Based on the titles and premise that they revealed, it sounds like the audience should be ready again for another series of twisted tales that will thrill and surprise them while watching.

Netflix has also hyped this as the most "unpredictable" season yet which is an interesting description since the series is known for its twisted stories and commentaries on technology and the current social climate.
