Who would you vote for as the next US president? Most people are hoping that Dwayne Johnson would run for presidency. Interestingly, the Black Adam star has addressed the possibility and is open to the idea of being the next leader of the Free World.
Pipslay conducted a poll asking people who they would vote for if they ran for the US presidency. Interestingly, almost half of the poll-takers chose Johnson as their ideal candidate. The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor dominated the poll as 46 percent of Americans wanted him to be their next president.
But what does Johnson have to say about this? The Rampage star found an article about the poll and shared it on his official Twitter account along with a positive caption.
"Not sure our Founding Fathers ever envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club - but if it ever happens it'd be my honor to serve the people," Johnson wrote.
It's an awesome response considering that most fans believe Johnson would make a great president. However, it is also important to point out that the poll is not official.
Interestingly, Johnson isn't the only celebrity who got several votes in the poll. Angelina Jolie got 30 percent while Oprah Winfrey fans made sure she got 27 percent of the votes. Around 63 percent of poll-takers also opined that celebrities would "make good politicians" with the right "political aptitude" and "the right team in place."
Johnson might be interested in running for president in the future but there are other things he needs to work on first. For instance, the Hobbs & Shaw actor will need to shoot for Black Adam, which is currently in production. The film is scheduled to premiere on July 29, 2022.
