James Gunn and Peter Safran have a lot on their plate right now as they cook up a ten-year plan for the new era of DC Studios after Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav entrusted the franchise to them and with this, Black Adam's Atom Smasher, Noah Centineo, is already excited.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Noah Centineo gets real on the new leadership of DC Studios as he puts his trust in Gunn and Safran for the future of DC, "For me, I’m just really excited to see Peter Safran and James Gunn‘s vision for DC, those guys, they know what they’re doing. So, we’ll give it to him. I’m excited."

Centineo also gives his take on Henry Cavill not returning as Superman anymore given the new plans for the DC franchise, "I honestly can’t even speak to any of that. I don’t really know what their plan is, and I’m psyched to see what they do with the DC world."

Centineo shares the fun they had when filming Black Adam even when the sequel has been put on pause, "There were so many of us, and we all just blended together, and everybody was so willing to just befriend one another, and we really became family."

James Gunn and Peter Safran have been on the job for only a few months after taking over DC Studios as co-CEOs and while they haven't released their plans yet, Gunn already teased that there will be a new guy who will suit up as Superman with a new origin story coming up.

Meanwhile, the sequel to Black Adam has been put on hold which means there lies some ambiguity whether Noah Centineo would be back again to play Albert "Al" Rothstein a.k.a. Atom Smasher in the new era of DC Studios but at least, his perspective on the new leadership of the franchise remains positive.

Black Adam had quite a lackluster performance when it arrived in theaters and many would even call it as a blockbuster failure. Currently, the Dwayne Johnson-led movie is available to stream on HBO Max, Vudu, Apple TV on the Roku device, Spectrum TV, and Amazon Prime Video.
