Better Call Saul may have ended after six seasons, but fans still haven’t moved on from the relationship between Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn). Do these two get the chance to meet again after Jimmy has served his sentence?

Jimmy has already decided to leave his past as Saul Goodman after confessing his involvement in Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) meth empire. It ends him with an 86-year sentence, with Kim witnessing his sentencing and visiting him in prison. So, will these two meet again?

Do Kim and Jimmy Meet Again After the Latter’s Sentence?

In an interview with Empire’s February 2023 issue, Odenkirk revealed whether Kim would be waiting for Jimmy after getting a reduced sentence for good behavior.

The 60-year-old responded positively, citing Jimmy and Kim’s romance as a “very satisfying relationship.”

He also acknowledged that his character had sacrificed his friend to remove his burdens due to his other persona, Saul’s actions.

“I think that's what goes on. And in a weird way, he'd have to count that as a very satisfying relationship to have had in his life,” he said, via ScreenRant. “He traded his freedom for peace of mind and peace of heart, and I think that's a fair trade, for sure.”

Will Fans See Kim, Jimmy’s Reunion?

Unfortunately, fans may never see Kim and Jimmy’s reunion on screen. Though it’s possible that Jimmy will receive a reduced sentence due to his good behavior, he may spend the rest of his life in prison.

His original sentence is 86 years behind bars.

If he’s still Saul, he may conjure various schemes to make his life comfortable inside or be set free as soon as possible.

However, as he has already left his life as Saul for good, he will gladly accept his fate.

But if Odenkirk’s words come true, Kim and Jimmy may reunite, it may only happen off-screen.
