Ben Affleck Reportedly Wants To Keep Being The DCEU’s Batman

DC fans might not have any real confirmation on whether Ban Affleck might stay on with the DC Extended Universe to remain as the franchise's Batman, but word has it that the superhero actor might want to stick around.

The news may come as a surprise to fans. There were a lot of reports that Affleck was getting tired of staying as the DCEU's Batman after the tepid release of Justice League. The film ended up doing very poorly at the box office, earning mixed reviews from fans and critics.

Now, according to a Los Angeles-based writer Daniel R, word has it that Affleck is planning to keep the cowl. Though the source claims that the report is "a rumor for now," he also says that "Ben Affleck now wants to stick around as the DCEU's Batman."

While the logical move would be to take the report with a sizeable grain of salt, it's interesting to hear that "Ben Affleck NOW wants to stick around" as Warner Bros' Dark Knight. This implies that Affleck was considering leaving, but changed his mind. If so, why? Did Warner Bros. manage to cook up a good script for Affleck?

We'll probably have to wait for official confirmation from Affleck and his agents regarding this news. Let's hope that one of DC's best Batman actors decides to stay.

Matt Reeve's The Batman doesn't have a release date, but we'll keep everyone updated as soon as we get word.
