Ben Affleck Explains Why Robert Pattinson Will be a Better Batman Than Him

Whether you like it or not, Robert Pattinson is the new Batman. But what does Ben Affleck think of the new actor that will take over the role? Interestingly, the Justice League star seems to believe that Pattinson is the right man for the job.

Affleck recently opened up about his struggles while talking to Jake Hamilton and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor revealed that he somehow lost interest in playing the Caped Crusader.

"It just so happened that I had done a couple of those movies, and I kind of lost my passion for it," Affleck said. He then continued by pointing out that it led to him not wanting to continue with the planned film he was working on with Geoff Johns.

"It just seemed, like, very clear to me that if it's not the most important thing in the world to you, you're not going to make a very good movie. The movie deserves to be made by someone who's dying to do it," Affleck stated. Although he didn't mention Pattinson's name, fans speculated that he was referring to the star of The Batman.

It's sad to know that Affleck is no longer eager to play the Dark Knight but we're hoping that he recovers his passion for filmmaking again soon. In the meantime, fans can look forward to Pattinson as Bruce Wayne in The Batman.

The Batman is currently in production and is scheduled for release on August 6, 2021.
