The new Batwoman has finally suited up. The new set photos from Batwoman Season 2 has offered our first glimpse at Javicia Leslie's Ryan Wilder in action as Kate Kane's successor.
Batwoman Season 2 has finally started production and there have been set photos showing Leslie in regular clothes going about her business. However, the latest pictures taken from the set confirm that Ryan will be suiting up and it looks like you could barely tell the difference between the new Batwoman and the one played by Ruby Rose. It's interesting to note that Ryan is wearing almost exactly the same thing that Kate had worn as Batwoman. Some even believe that the photos only show an early version of her Batsuit which could be changed up later in the series so it would reflect the character's own style. For now, we're just glad to see that Batwoman is back in action but we're hoping for more updates soon.
Leslie will be introduced in the second season of Batwoman after Rose decided to leave the CW series earlier this year. Her character is not based on anyone from the comic books and is a completely original character created solely for the show.
