Batman's Time is Up, Batwoman's Time is Now in Brand-New Poster

Due to some cheesy CW writing and its feminist tone, Batwoman has ended up becoming a bit controversial with some comic book fans. To be fair, Ruby Rose did fine during the character's appearance in the Elseworlds crossover and she should continue doing well once the show gets going. As we wait for the show's release, The CW has released a brand-new poster that has a very simple message: it's Batwoman's time now.

With the simple tagline "Her time is now," it shows that The CW is fully-behind Batwoman. It also has meaning for the show's storyline, which has Batman missing so his cousin Kate Kane has to become Batwoman and take his place. While we don't need the cringe-worthy lines about how great women are, which plagued the trailer, cool-looking posters like these with messages with effective taglines are perfectly fine.

That's not to say that women aren't great - they are - it's just the first trailer tried a bit too hard to convey this message.

Expect some fans to hate this poster when it comes out, due to the fact that it stars a woman in the LGBTQ. These days, certain fans have been hating superheroes who aren't white men, even though comic books have been trying to teach people how to be tolerant and accepting for years. Personally, as someone who sees all the flaws in the advertising of Batwoman, I hope the show succeeds to spite these "fans."

Batwoman premieres on The CW on October 6.
