"It seems today that all you see is Joker quoting Family Guy on TV."

We all know the Joker. From his many versions on the silver screen and to the most phenomenal one in the comics, who knew Joker was actually a big fan of animated sit-coms. Aside from Animal Man and Lobo, who was mostly known to break the 4th wall in the comics and other DC characters in the animated series, Joker is one of the most entertaining and mind-boggling ones to encounter.

There have been many instances where Joker has been proven that he is actually hypersane, or that he is quite well aware that he is living in a fictional world. Such mind-boggling moments were seen in Joker's Asylum and Emperor Joker in the comics, while Batman: The Animated Series, "The Last Laugh" and The New Batman Adventures, "Joker's Millions" in the animated series.

The trend goes on in Batman: The Adventures Continue #13 where he briefly mentions a similar situation from a scene in Seth McFarlane's Family Guy.

After assaulting Jason Todd, the Joker takes up on Straightman, the new fancy-suited-guy-who-sets-up-the-Joker's-punchline sidekick. He later goes to the Iceberg Lounge and seemingly asks Penguin for a loan, only to be denied upon his request. The Joker then sends off Straightman to fix the deal. However, he was halted by the bird-like creature, Mr. Wing. As both right-hand men of Gotham's infamous villains, exchange blows. Upon watching the two, the Joker stated that the situation reminded him of the fights between the Giant Chicken and Peter Griffin on Family Guy.

"This is better than those fights in Family Guy, though I don't think your chicken's gonna last as long," The Joker says as he looks directly at the chuckling readers.

The great chicken fights from the 20-year long Fox sit-com have been a part of every 90's and early 2000's babies' source of puns and jokes. The first time fans saw this more-than-a-minute brawl was in Season 2's episode, Da Boom. As the seasons and years went by, these two characters never failed to bring the nostalgia in their every re-enactment and even the development of their relationship.

Once again, the Joker breaks the 4th wall as he leaves everyone in awe and right at that moment where the fans and readers would definitely check out on more Family Guy's famous antics. It may not be able to top one of Peter Griffin's most hilarious and memorable scenes in the gag, yet it certainly leaves a lasting impression that would make fans love the Joker even more.
