Avengers: Infinity War’s Chris Hemsworth Says He Was “Quite Cheaply” Copied By Chris Evans

Marvel fans might have gone gaga after seeing Captain America's rugged new look in Avengers: Infinity War but his Marvel co-star Chris Hemsworth doesn't think that Chris Evans new beard is something worth gushing over.

Marvel's Asgardian God of Thunder just recently went on an interview with Esquire to speak about Marvel's two-part Avengers movie, and during his discussion with the publication, Hemsworth let fans know what he thought of Captain America's new whiskers in Avengers: Infinity War.

"I'd like to say I was the original if that means anything," Hemsworth said. "[Chris Evans] certainly, I feel like, copied me. Quite cheaply."

Sure Thor's hair on both his head and the end of his chin have had varying degrees of length during the course of time that he's spent in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we all know that the Asgardian God of Thunder knows how to keep a good beard on his face. Guess Hemsworth might just jokingly be "jealous" of all the attention.

Unlike Thor who's always had the handsomely rugged look ever since he first appeared in the MCU, Captain America's always had a clean-shaven face to go along with his boy scout demeanor. However, the events of Captain America: Civil War forced Cap into hiding, and the time he spent saving lives undercover gave him a bit of a beard to wear in Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
