Thor may have failed at defeating Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War but that hasn't affected Chris Hemworth's popularity. The Bad Times at the El Royale star has addressed his recent People's Choice Awards nominations in an awesome video.
Hemsworth shared the video on his official Instagram account. He announced that he has been nominated for Action Movie Star and Male Movie Star for Infinity War as well as Drama Movie Star for 12 Strong. The Avengers 4 actor invited his followers to vote for him or simply just enjoy their day. Check out the hilarious post below.
Infinity War has also been nominated for Best Movie and Action Movie of the Year while 12 Strong will be vying for the Drama Movie of 2018. Here's hoping that Hemsworth gets to take home a cool award this November.
Hemsworth is currently working on the Men In Black reboot with Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson. Interestingly, Thompson's film Annihilation has also been nominated for Drama Movie so the competition between Thor and Valkyrie is on.
There's plenty of competition for Hemsworth in the Male Movie Star category. He is up against Infinity War co-star Robert Downey Jr., Ant-Man and the Wasp's Paul Rudd, and Black Panther actors Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan.
Infinity War is not the only Marvel Cinematic Universe film that is currently up for a People's Choice Award. Black Panther has also been nominated for Movie of the Year and Action Movie of 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp got a nod for Action Movie as well.
