Avengers: Infinity War Concept Art Suggests That Thanos Time-Traveled At The End Of The Film

Thanos (Josh Brolin) might have actually traveled in time during the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

After snapping his finger and reducing half the universe to dust, Thanos escaped the hands of Thor (Chris Evans)and the rest of the Avengers by using the Infinity Gauntlet, traveling over to a verdant and green terrace farm somewhere in the cosmos.

Though fans mostly believed that the Mad Titan simply traveled through space using the gauntlet, a new concept art piece seemingly reveals that Thanos actually crossed the boundary of time during the end of the film.

Marvel concept artist Pete Thompson just recently shared a series of stunning concept art pieces that he made during the production of Infinity War and one specific art piece gives us a closer look at the terrace planet that Thanos escaped to at the very end of the movie.

Though the image itself doesn't seem to give away too much information about Infinity War or its highly anticipated sequel Avengers 4, the title of the art piece does drop a bomb.

Called "Titan Thanos Farm" the art piece seems to imply that Thanos traveled through time on his home planet, Titan. While fans might remember seeing Titan as a barren and desolate wasteland in the film, this version of the planet is lush and verdant. Thanos either traveled back in time to a better moment in the planet's history, or he traveled forward to when the planet managed to rejuvenate itself. Either way, it seems like Thanos has the ability to travel through time, making it even more likely that the Avengers will be doing the same in Avengers 4.

Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019. Marvel's latest film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, premieres this Friday, July 4.
