Marvel fans might have been hoping that the trailer for Avengers: Endgame would provide answers to the questions that have been running around their minds ever since the end of Avengers: Infinity War, but instead the footage gave more questions to think about. Luckily, it looks like the IMAX trailer for Endgame might help clear up most of the confusion.
MCU Cosmic has the latest deets on the Avengers: Endgame trailer that's set to debut along with the release of Aquaman on IMAX this week and according to the site the new video is going to clear out a few questions left behind by the trailer released by Marvel last week.
In the original trailer, Nebula (Karen Gillan) is seen touching a person's shoulder while aboard a ship. While it's clear that the Guardian of the Galaxy is comforting Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) on the Benetar, some speculated that Nebula might have actually been giving her affection to Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) as they prepared to sacrifice themselves. The IMAX trailer makes it clear that the shoulder belongs to Iron Man.
The video also gives a better look at Black Widows hair, an object which became a measuring stick for the time-jump theories for Endgame. Natasha had two clear hairdos in the original trailer for the movie – one where she keeps her hair short, and another where her hair seems to be tied in a ponytail. The IMAX version of the footage makes it clear that Natasha's hair was simply grown out of her shorter cut, so if a time-jump where to be implied, it would probably be within the span of a few months.
Not only that but the IMAX trailer for Endgame also gives us more of Thanos in his farmer's outfit – an upgrade to his backside walking through a field on his farming planet.
Avengers: Endgame is set for release April 26, 2019.
