Avengers: Endgame Theory Suggests Spider-Man Never Got Off The Bus

There is much excitement about the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer since it gives us our first look at Peter Parker after the events in Avengers: Infinity War. But is it possible that the teasers also confirmed that Spider-Man never actually got off the bus in the first place?

A theory posted on Reddit suggests that Endgame might feature an "unsnap" that would reset the current Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. This would mean that the heroes might find a way to use the Infinity Stones to go back to a point in the past "where Thanos never attacked Earth at all, erasing the attack, decimation, and everyone's memories of it."

This certainly might explain why Peter still has his original suit seen in the Far From Home trailer. If Peter actually got off the bus and followed Iron Man into space like in Infinity War, he would already have the Iron Spider suit if Far From Home takes place after Endgame. Interestingly, the suit that he almost left behind in New York might be a clue to what will happen in the upcoming MCU flick.

The theory also points out that the reset in Endgame might happen because of a sacrifice made by Tony Stark. After all, it is pointed out that a possible relationship between Happy Hogan and Aunt May might never happen if Tony is still around. Although it's a plausible theory, we would still recommend taking this one with a grain of salt.

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26. Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for release on July 5.
