There are hundreds of theories about how Thanos will be defeated in Avengers: Endgame. However, none has been quite as hilarious (and gross) as the one where Ant-Man is supposed to crawl up the Mad Titan's butt to ensure victory. But before you start betting on this being the true endgame, Josh Brolin has somehow confirmed that his character is prepared for the unsavory invasion.
Brolin took to his Instagram account to respond to all those memes about Scott Lang going up where the sun doesn't shine. Take a look at the hilarious video below.
"The tension around what Endgame is going to bring. I can feel it, as you can see. Can you?" Brolin wrote, adding the hashtags #tbt, #thanosmarketingpush, #flushanantman, and #50percenthernia. Just when you thought this meme couldn't get any funnier.
Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man, has already spoken up about the possibility of his character going the distance in an effort to save the universe. However, Rudd stated that it probably isn't happening because Disney would immediately censor the entire sequence. In addition to that, he isn't exactly eager to go up against Brolin because he's "a real cowboy." I don't even know what to say about that comment.
By the way, Rudd's reaction to the theory was actually recording in July 2018 so it's still possible that he has changed his mind about taking one for the team since then. Who knows, we, as well as Thanos, could be in for a big surprise this April.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
