Avengers: Endgame Star Don Cheadle Stands Up for Trans Rights During SNL

War Machine might not be everyone's favorite Avenger but that might change after the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live. Don Cheadle was the guest host for the night and he gained everyone's respect by wearing a Protect Trans Kids t-shirt, which is a gutsy thing to do. Considering how controversial it can be to talk about gender and sexuality, casually wearing a shirt like this in front of an audience of millions shows a lot of courage.

This has led to a lot of praise for the Avengers: Endgame star from fellow celebrities and The Human Rights Campaign, showing that Cheadle is something of a hero. Cheadle also took the time to thanks everyone for the love and support giving to him, showing some humility from this acclaimed actor.

Sadly, trans rights are still something that a lot of people don't understand or respect, which is why simple acts like this go a long way. Considering how people who identify as trans still get attacked for something other people don't understand, we can only hope that things change for the better. We are in 2019 after all and we should all just try and get along.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.

Avengers: Endgame is coming out on April 26. Hopefully, Cheadle's War Machine gets some time to shine this time.
