Avengers: Endgame Runtime Could Be 3 Hours

Avengers: Infinity War was already a pretty long film by MCU standards running at 2 hours and 40 minutes, but it's possible that the sequel, Avengers: Endgame could go on for even longer—surpassing the three-hour mark.

Talking to Empire Magazine (via ComicBookMovie), the Russo brothers shared, "There's a high probability that this movie will clock in at around three hours. It's a big movie with a lot of story."

Of course, it's possible that the film could still be edited to have a shorter runtime, but seeing that this is one massive MCU event, I wouldn't be so bothered if Marvel actually went all out and gave us a three-hour film. I mean, each Hobbit movie was able to surpass three hours and they still made a lot of money in the box office. Why can't Endgame do the same?

We can only learn so much from the teaser that was released, and fans have been clinging on to every kind of information they can find online. Of course, there's also the endless wave of fan theories speculating on what's going to happen.

For now it looks like Marvel Studios has given us our last Endgame promo for the year. As it stands, they have to focus their attention on the release of Captain Marvel which comes out in March. After that film is out of the way, I expect the studio to go full speed with the marketing for Avengers: Endgame.
