Avengers: Endgame Reveals Key Details In Brand New Footage

Disney's really been ramping up the hype for Avengers: Endgame. The Mickey Mouse House invited members of the press to its lot in Burbank, California this evening to check out a couple of clips from Joe and Anthony Russo's upcoming film ahead of its release later this month.

ComicBook.com was one of the publications invited to the screening, and according to the publication, nearly seven minutes of footage from the film was shown during the gathering. The clips were reportedly unrelated to each other, and Disney refused to provide any context for the footage, hoping to keep the footage as mysterious as they ought to be.

In one of the scenes, viewers get to see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) teaming up with one another to return to Earth. The two make an interesting team because while one's major traumas is being replaced with metal parts by her supposed father, the other became known for his metal suit. Despite their many differences, the two are seen bonding together in the screened clip.

Here's a description of the scene:

"While the situation in which Tony and Nebula find themselves in sends a clear message of hopelessness and desperation, they found solace in a simple home-made table top game to pass the time. They might even be bonding a little bit. That's what this movie seems to be about: the idea of individuals coming together to be greater than the sum of their parts."

The second clip is something that's been screened at this year's CinemaCon. In the footage we get to see the remaining members of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy gathering together to plan their mission to undo Thanos' (Josh Brolin) massacre. Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is very confident in the scene, clearly eager to go against the Mad Titan. This is where Captain America (Chris Evans) reminds her that the team has to function as a unit to take Thanos down.

Given Captain Marvel's attitude, we can only wonder how far she'll work with the team before going off on her own to beat down Thanos in the film.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
