Avengers: Endgame Re-Release Expanded to Other Territories to Try and Dethrone Avatar

Marvel's attempt to dethrone Avatar as the number one box office film around the world has been far from subtle. The fact that Avengers: Endgame has been re-released was proof enough of that but it seems like they are hellbent on making this happen (even though Disney owns both franchises). It seems like Marvel wants the rest of the world to help them out since the film's re-release will now hit other countries outside the US.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has confirmed that the Avengers: Endgame re-release is coming to India this weekend. That means Indian fans will be able to watch Endgame with extra content so if you're not planning to get the Blu-Ray, this is probably the cheaper alternative. Also, if you hate Avatar then can help Marvel Studios win a petty trophy.

It seems like a lost cause at this point; there's nothing wrong with being the second-most successful movie ever. That's not gonna stop Marvel Studios at this point, though they will eventually have to give up, especially if fans stop attending these re-releases. Once again, there's nothing wrong with wanting to see it again but Marvel Studios is going a bit overboard with their efforts.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is now showing in theaters. The Avengers: Endgame re-release might still be showing in some cinemas.
