Avengers Endgame: Mid Credits Scene for Captain Marvel has Been Officially Released

Captain Marvel as a whole didn't really have any significant connection to Avengers: Endgame save for the mid-credits scene; and with Endgame set to hit theaters by the end of the week, Marvel Studios has decided to officially release the mid-credits scene from CM.

Check it out:

The scene is basically the closest we have to the timeline of Endgame where the remaining Avengers have acquired Fury's homing signal and run into Captain Marvel. We don't know if they're going to add this scene again within Endgame, but I think some fans will need some proper context if they're just going to have Carol as part of the team at the very beginning of the movie.

With Captain Marvel being teased as one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU, a lot of people are excited to see how she fares against Thanos who could go toe-to-toe with the Hulk. My guess is that Captain Marvel actually dies in the middle of the film, sacrificing herself to kill Thanos, but that doesn't really solve the real problem—hence the time travel solution.

With Captain Marvel not really having a team of her own (even Doctor Strange had Wong), I'm kind of wondering how she deals with heroes other than herself. I'm sure she's been around the galaxy for a while by the time we meet her, but does this mean she'll never call Earth her home again? Are future CM films just going to be in space?

Captain Marvel returns in Avengers: Endgame which comes out April 26.
