Avengers: Endgame Kind of Gets a Post-Credits Sequence

Avengers: Endgame is probably still showing in cinemas but fans who stay till the end for the first time were pretty bummed when there wasn't a post-credits sequence teasing the next big MCU installment. Well, one has sort of been added but it might not be enough to rewatch the film for some, especially since this post-credits sequence is all over the internet.

So uh, non-spoilers, but the new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home has now been added to various Endgame showings, along with a pre-recorded message from Tom Holland to stay for it (via Digital Spy). This might sound disappointing to some but it's arguably better than nothing and could make for a nice transition, especially after everyone bawled over Iron Man's death.

To those that haven't seen it yet, Far From Home is set after Endgame and will deal with Peter continuing the legacy Iron Man started in the MCU. Spidey is still a mess after that film's tragic ending and all he wants to do is go on a trip with his friends, which doesn't work out since Nick Fury has him work with Mysterio to take on the Elementals.

Mysterio is also claiming to come from a different Earth but you can't really trust that guy. He's freaking Mysterio, you guys.

Avengers: Endgame is now showing in theaters. Spider-Man: Far From Home will come out on July 2.
