Avengers: Endgame Directors Might Be Confirming That Hilarious Thanos/Ant-Man Theory

There are so many Avengers: Endgame theories out there but none has captured the fans' imagination like the so-called Thanus theory. The idea is that Ant-Man will ultimately defeat Thanos by crawling up his butt and transforming to Giant-Man while hiding where the sun doesn't shine. Not surprisingly, the Russo brothers are loving that theory and have even suggested that it might happen this April.

Joe and Anthony Russo have just updated their profile picture on their joint Instagram account. The image involves a Venn diagram (in purple, no less) and Ant-Man preparing for action. Take a look at the image below.

OK, that's certainly hilarious and it's hard to imagine that the Russo brothers didn't actually consider the idea before the theory turned into a meme. After all, it was first suggested after the release of Avengers: Infinity War as an explanation to why Scott Lang didn't appear in the movie. Paul Rudd himself has been presented with the theory and it somehow left the Ant-Man and The Wasp star at a loss for words.

We're still not sure if the Thanus theory will actually happen in Endgame but we wouldn't be surprised if one survivor asks Scott to do it in the film. In the meantime, Josh Brolin is already preparing for the attack from the rear with a hilarious video of his own.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
