Avengers: Endgame Character Posters Confirm Heroes Living And Dead

Marvel fans might have only one month away till the release of Avengers: Endgame, yet Marvel Studios has released only a handful of trailers and teasers in an attempt to keep spoilers from spreading across the internet. Luckily, Marvel hasn't been holding back when it comes to posters, and now it looks like the Studio has just decided to drop a collection of character posters for the film.

The posters feature a number of Marvel characters who are both dead and alive by the time Endgame comes along. Posters featuring heroes that survive the Decimation are in full color. This set includes posters for Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Wong (Benedict Wong), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).

Meanwhile, the character posters that feature characters who've fallen victim to Thanos' (Josh Brolin) Snappening comes in black and white. This includes posters for Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Vision (Paul Bethany), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Drax (Dave Bautista), Groot (Vin Diesel/Terry Notary), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and Shuri (Letitia Wright).

This is an interesting release. The character posters confirm something that fans have long since been wondering – Valkyrie is alive and well and by the look of things she's also going to be part of Endgame. It also reveals the fate of Shuri, Black Panther's sister. It's a crushing revelation, one that shows just how lost Wakanda is without Black Panther or his sister to guide it.

Avengers: Endgame is set to premiere on April 26, 2019.
