Avengers Endgame: A Look at Old Man Steve Rogers Before CGI

Avengers: Endgame is now available for digital, but Disney is now gearing for the Blu-Ray/DVD release on Aug. 13. We're getting more and more easter eggs and revelations online, and just in we have a photo of Chris Evans in old man make-up for his scene as old Steve Rogers near the end of the film.

You can see the make-up artists tried their best to give Evans some practical make-up, but they really had to shrink his face for the final look. It's also worth noting that the film also used a body double in the form of Patrick Gorman.

For now, it looks like Chris Evans is absolutely done with the character, but I wouldn't put it past him to make a cameo in Sam Wilson's first outing as the new Captain America. Maybe they can start the film with old Steve Rogers dying (like in Civil War), and have Cap leave one last message for Sam, but it's also likely they'll use some stock footage or photos just like they did with Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Far from Home.

We don't know when the next Captain America movie is going to happen, but we're going to see Sam Wilson come to form in Disney+'s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier which comes out in the fall of 2020.

Avengers: Endgame is now available on digital and hits Blu-Ray/DVD on Aug. 13.
