Avengers: Endgame '100% Locked' As Russo Brothers Finish Last VFX

There are only three weeks left before the premiere of Avengers: Endgame and the Russo brothers are finally ready to present their new Marvel Cinematic Universe flick to the world. It has just been confirmed that the movie is now "100% locked" as Joe and Anthony Russo have finished work on the last VFX in the film.

The information was revealed by Collider, confirming that the Russo brothers had finally completed work on Endgame. Take a look at the tweet below.

"The @Russo_Brothers finished #AvengersEndgame last night on the @DisneyStudios lot. They had a few last VFX to get done. But the movie is now 100% locked," it reads.

It's certainly about time. However, some fans immediately began speculating why it took so long to complete Endgame.

There are speculations that the Russo brothers were ordered by Disney to add some new details in Endgame considering that it is the first Marvel Studios film that will be released after the Fox acquisition. Some believe that a mid-credits or post-credits scene will tease at the future of the MCU now that the X-Men are part of the studio. However, it's only based on theory so we recommend taking this with a grain of salt.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
